Duke of Edinburgh's Award
If you are a young person looking to volunteer as part of your Duke of Edinburgh's Award, we can put you in touch with a litter picking assessor from the local community who can support you through the process.
We recommend asking your parent/guardian to register with our Community Litter Picking Initiative on your behalf to obtain a free litter picking kit.

Scouts & Girlguiding
We can support your scout or girlguiding group (any section) to take part in our campaigns.
Activities such as litter picking or tree planting could count towards members achieving certain badges or awards, and help make a difference in the local community.

Anti-Litter Video Competition 2021
Schools were invited to take part in a competition to create a video highlighting the impact of litter. We had some fantastic entries, judged by Talking Rubbish in Solihull. The overall winners were Merstone School and with Light Hall School taking second place. Both schools were awarded litter picking kit (donated by Helping Hand Environmental Ltd) and a Touchwood gift card from Love Solihull.
