SMBC have committed to planting 250,000 trees over the next 10 years through local engagement with schools, residents, businesses and community groups with added support from Solihull Tree Wardens.  The 'Planting Our Future' campaign will encourage residents to engage with tree planting projects, get involved in other green infrastructure projects across the borough and offer support to private land owners who wish to plant trees.

The Love Solihull Team will also promote the numerous benefits trees provide (including increasing biodiversity, capturing carbon & reducing pollution levels).  We have some exciting projects planned for this year including planting a new woodland that will be dedicated in remembrance of those who have lost family or friends to Covid-19.
